Cititrans Launches New Juanda Airport - Malang Round Trip Route

Sidoarjo, January 30, 2025 – Cititrans, the Standard Comfortable Indonesia (SNI) shuttle service from the Bluebird Group, has officially launched a new route between Juanda International Airport and Malang (round trip). This airport shuttle service offers a new solution for travelers who choose Juanda International Airport as their gateway to Malang.

Throughout 2024, Juanda International Airport served over 14 million passengers, highlighting the growing demand for continued transportation access, especially to popular destinations in East Java such as Malang. The introduction of this new service is designed to meet the mobility needs of passengers traveling through Juanda International Airport.

Andrew Arristianto, the CEO of Cititrans, stated, "Surabaya often serves as a key transit point for passengers from major cities across Indonesia due to its capacity and frequent flight schedules. The Surabaya-Malang route is also a popular corridor, with thousands of passengers using our executive shuttle services every month. The addition of the airport shuttle will complement our existing offerings, providing a convenient and efficient travel option."

This new shuttle service is the third route launched by Cititrans, following the success of its services on the Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang)-Bandung (round trip) route, which has been operating for over 10 years, and the Ahmad Yani Airport (Semarang)-Solo (round trip) route, which began in early 2024. Both of these routes have supported the mobility of thousands of passengers traveling to and from the airport every day.

Cititrans guarantees timely departures with eight scheduled trips per day from both Malang and Juanda International Airport. Departure times from Malang are available from 2:45 AM to 7:15 PM, while departures from Juanda International Airport are from 4:50 AM to 10:15 PM, offering passengers flexibility in selecting the most convenient times for their journey. Additionally, with flexible booking options through the Cititrans website or app, passengers can easily make reservations or reschedule their trips. Various payment methods are also available for a seamless transaction experience.

This service began operating on January 17, 2025, with a fleet of Toyota Hiace vehicles configured with 8 executive seats. Starting at IDR 135,000, passengers can enjoy amenities such as footrests, USB charging ports (Type A and Type C) at each seat, and travel via toll roads for a smooth ride.

"With the addition of this new route, Cititrans continues to deliver memorable travel experiences for our customers. We are committed to expanding our services to support the growing mobility needs in Indonesia," concluded Andrew.
